What exactly is Soma and how does it work?
Soma is a prescription pain reliever used to treat musculoskeletal discomfort. Soma can be taken alone or in combination with other drugs.
Pain O Soma is a Skeletal Muscle Relaxant, which means it relaxes your muscles.
It is unknown whether Soma is safe and effective in children under the age of 16. Geriatric patients should not take Soma.
INDICATIONS
SOMA is prescribed for the alleviation of pain and discomfort caused by acute musculoskeletal disorders in adults.
Use Restrictions
Because substantial proof of benefit for longer usage has not been shown and because acute, painful musculoskeletal problems are often of short duration, SOMA should only be taken for short periods (up to two or three weeks).
CLINICAL STUDIES EXPERIENCE SIDE EFFECTS
Because clinical studies are done under such a wide range of conditions, adverse response rates recorded in one drug’s clinical studies cannot be directly compared to rates observed in another drug’s clinical studies, and may not represent rates observed in practice.
Assess the risk of SOMA abuse before prescribing it to minimize the chances of it being abused. Limit the duration of treatment for acute musculoskeletal discomfort to three weeks after prescribing, preserve meticulous prescription records, monitor for indicators of abuse and overdose, and educate patients and their families about abuse and correct storage and disposal.
Seizures have been reported in patients who got SOMA after it was approved for use. The majority of these incidents have occurred as a result of several drug overdoses (including drugs of abuse, illegal drugs, and alcohol)
It has variants like pain o soma 500mg, pain o soma 350mg, prosoma 350mg, etc.
